Job description
We are working with a specialist education setting in West London that is looking to appoint a qualified Psychologist to support children and young people with additional needs. This role involves working closely with education staff and other professionals to support pupils' emotional wellbeing, behaviour and learning.
Key Responsibilities for a Psychologist:
* Carry out psychological assessments to understand pupils' emotional, behavioural and learning needs.
* Develop strategies and interventions to support pupils' mental health and wellbeing.
* Work with staff to implement effective support plans within the school environment.
* Provide guidance and recommendations to teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning.
* Monitor and review pupils' progress and adapt support strategies where necessary.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support.
For this role, you will have:
* A recognised postgraduate qualification in Psychology relevant to the role.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
* Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* The ability to commute to the West London area.
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday
