Sani A. - Teaching Assistant
Why was the candidate looking for a role in education?
Sani always wanted to become a teacher, with her mum having been one back in India. One thing she was told by her parents was to respect her teachers because they are educating her and providing her with knowledge. This stood out to her.

Before working with Envision Education, Sani was working in retail, whilst completing a degree in Textile Design with the aim of becoming an art teacher later down the line. Why was the candidate looking for a role in education?
Teaching was always in the back of Julia’s mind as a potential career choice, so she thought to try it out and see if it would be something of interest to her.

She initially secured a role working 1-1 with a SEN pupil where she worked for 9 months, before starting at a secondary school in July 2021. She received support throughout, with Christina always being on hand to help or answer any queries she had.
