Job description
We are working with a specialist education setting in West London that is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support children and young people with additional needs. This role involves helping pupils develop the skills they need to participate more independently in daily school activities and learning.
Key Responsibilities for an Occupational Therapist:
* Assess pupils' physical, sensory and functional needs within the school environment.
* Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to support pupils' independence and participation in school activities.
* Support pupils in developing practical life skills and strategies to manage daily tasks.
* Recommend appropriate strategies, equipment or environmental adjustments to support pupils' needs.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and other professionals to integrate therapy strategies into the school day.
* Monitor pupils' progress and review support plans where necessary.
For this role, you will have:
* A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
* Strong communication and problem solving skills.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* The ability to commute to the West London area.
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
