Job description

We are working with a specialist education setting in West London that is seeking a committed Behaviour Coordinator to support pupils with additional behavioural and emotional needs. This role involves working closely with teaching staff and support teams to promote positive behaviour and help pupils remain engaged in learning.

Key Responsibilities for a Behaviour Coordinator:
* Identify pupils who may require additional behavioural support and help implement appropriate strategies.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils manage behaviour and remain engaged in learning.
* Promote positive behaviour strategies and support pupils in developing social and emotional skills.
* Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure consistent behaviour support across the school.
* Help create and implement behaviour support plans where required.
* Act as a positive role model and support pupils in building confidence and independence.

For this role, you will have:
* Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an education setting.
* Experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs or additional needs is desirable.
* Strong communication and relationship building skills.
* A calm, patient and supportive approach.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider school team.
* The ability to commute to the West London area.

Days and Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
