Job description
About the role:
A supportive primary school in St Albans is currently looking to welcome a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join the team. This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs across different year groups, helping boost their confidence with an inclusive environment and assisting students so they are ready to learn.
You'll spend your time working alongside class teachers and providing 1:1 support where needed whilst helping small groups stay focused and engaged. The school values teamwork, so being able to communicate well and work closely with staff is important.
Requirements:
- Have previous experience in a primary SEND setting as a Year 4 Teaching Assistant
- Have worked with children and can provide a reference as Year 4 Teaching Assistant
- Hold an enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
- Be reliable, calm and able to travel to St Albans
