Job description
Envision Education is currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Bourne End. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday to Friday (8:30am-3:30pm), with an immediate start available.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children and is looking to further develop their experience within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to pupils as a Teaching Assistant
- Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons as a Teaching Assistant
- Contribute to supporting pupils with SEND needs such as ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Promote positive behaviour as a Teaching Assistant
- Encourage pupils independence and confidence
- Contribute to maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
What We're Looking For
- Availability to start immediately
- Previous experience working with children in a professional setting
- Experience supporting additional needs (desirable but not essential)
- A patient, adaptable and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to contribute to personal care where required
