We are actively seeking a Qualified Teacher to teach students with special needs and help them with their development. To be considered for this role as a Qualified Teacher you must hold QTS to work in a school setting!

The school is a SEN school so experience in supporting SEN pupils would be ideal and school has 2 Teaching vacancies in both their primary & secondary school setting.

The Role:

• To create a positive, caring, supportive, purposeful, innovative and stimulating environment which is conducive to children's learning
• To plan and teach lessons that are good or better, ensuring breadth and balance in all subjects
• Use teaching methods which capture pupils' interest and maintain their engagement
• Provide opportunities to develop pupils' wider understanding by relating their learning to 'real-life' through first hand learning experiences
• Plan and implement a personalised curriculum to meet the needs of all pupils in the class and develop personal and social aspects of learning

Requirements:

• You must be a Qualified Teacher and hold a QTS
• Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
• Recent experience working with children in a school as a Qualified Teacher
• A sound understanding of either primary or secondary Curriculum
• Either live in Hemel Hempstead or within a commutable distance
