Design Technology Teacher - KS3 & KS4
Hillingdon

A well-regarded and high-performing mainstream secondary school is seeking a qualified Design Technology Teacher to cover a staff absence. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department within a school known for strong behaviour, clear routines and a positive learning culture.

The Role

  • Teaching Design Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Focus on DT and Engineering

  • Delivering practical and theory-based lessons that engage and challenge learners

  • Planning and marking in line with departmental expectations

  • Maintaining high standards of safety within workshop environments

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching DT/Engineering at KS3 and KS4

  • Confident managing practical classrooms and machinery safely

  • Strong classroom management and clear behaviour expectations

  • Able to hit the ground running and integrate quickly into an established team

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced DT Teacher or a confident ECT looking to gain experience in a well-structured secondary setting.

Full-time, Monday to Friday.
