Job description

Are you looking for a permanent Teaching Assistant role where you can truly make a difference in children's lives? Do you have experience working in a school setting supporting pupils with SEND?

If so, apply now! We are working with a fantastic SEND school in Ware, currently seeking a Permanent SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team immediately.

Please note: Previous experience working in a school as a Teaching Assistant is essential.


The Role:

  • Support pupils with SEND in their learning and overall development

  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and assist with tidying up afterwards

  • Motivate and encourage children to reach their full potential

  • Provide support both within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis as needed

  • Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment


Requirements:

  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 4:00pm

  • Must have recent, referenceable experience working with children

  • Must live in or be able to commute to Ware

  • Hold a valid Enhanced Child & Adult DBS (or be willing to apply for one)

  • Graduates are welcome to apply, provided you have some relevant experience with children

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience, and skills.
