Job description

We're proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive SEND school in Hemel Hempstead, where children are genuinely at the heart of everything they do. The school delivers a creative, engaging, and supportive curriculum, led by a dedicated team committed to nurturing each pupil's progress and well-being.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs.

  • Work closely with staff to contribute positively to the whole school community.

  • Support teachers in delivering interactive, engaging, and inclusive lessons.

  • Monitor and record pupil progress, offering insightful feedback to both teachers and parents.

  • Reflect on your practice and engage in continuous professional development.


Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children in a school or residential care setting.

  • A professional reference to confirm your experience.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Ability to commute to or reside in Hemel Hempstead.
