We're currently working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Welwyn Garden City that is seeking a SEND Teaching & Learning Assistant to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone who is committed, compassionate, and eager to support pupils with Special Educational Needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support across various year groups, including pupils with SEND.

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, tailored to individual learning needs.

  • Work closely with teaching staff to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

  • Offer personalised and empathetic support, helping children develop both academically and emotionally.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children in a UK educational setting.

  • Confidence in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, particularly SEND.

  • Full-time availability: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • The ability to commute to or reside in Welwyn Garden City.
