The school is now seeking a caring and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support on a 1:1 and small group basis, enabling pupils to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to pupils with SEND, both in the classroom and during targeted group sessions.

  • Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging, inclusive, and accessible lessons.

  • Monitor and record pupil progress, sharing meaningful feedback with staff and families.

  • Create a positive, supportive learning environment that promotes confidence, independence, and resilience.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children in a school or care setting.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Ability to commute to or reside in Hemel Hempstead.
