Job description

The Role - Teaching Assistant
The school is currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join their outstanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND

  • Work collaboratively with staff and contribute positively to the wider school community

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons

  • Observe and assess children's progress, offering meaningful feedback to both teachers and parents

  • Continuously reflect on and improve your practice as a Teaching Assistant

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school setting or residential care environment

  • A reference to support your experience with children

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

  • The ability to commute to or live in Hemel Hempstead
