Teaching Assistants Required - Full-Time Roles at Specialist SEND School in Hemel Hempstead
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and committed team at a specialist SEND school in the Hemel Hempstead area. This is a full-time position, with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. An immediate start is required.
Applicants must have previous experience working with children in the UK, ideally within an educational setting. Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs-such as autism, speech and language difficulties, or complex learning needs-is highly desirable. We are looking for individuals who are patient, proactive, and passionate about inclusive education.
The role begins with a two-week paid trial and is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, subject to successful completion of the trial.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support as a Teaching Assistant, tailored to individual pupils' learning needs.
Work closely with class teachers to help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Support pupils both in the classroom and throughout the school in your role as a Teaching Assistant.
Contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils with SEND.
Work collaboratively with fellow Teaching Assistants to ensure consistent, high-quality support for all learners.
