The Role:

  • Provide support to students with Autism and other associated Learning Difficulties in class
  • Assist the class teacher with resource and classroom preparations
  • Use a variety of support techniques to keep children engaged and motivated
  • Observe, monitor and report on student progress and behaviour
  • Manage challenging behaviour in a postitive manner
  • Uphold the school's values at all times

Requirements:

  • Must have experience supporting students with SEN in a classroom environment
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Confident managing challenging behaviour
  • Previous experience supporting children with Autism
  • Excellent organisation and timekeeping skills
  • Local or able to commute to Belmont
