Teaching Assistant Required - Full-Time Role at Specialist SEND School in Hemel Hempstead
A specialist SEND school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and welcoming team. This full-time Teaching Assistant position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs within a nurturing educational environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development while working closely with experienced staff in a specialist setting.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Start: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support tailored to individual pupils' learning needs.
- Working closely with class teachers to help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Supporting pupils both in the classroom and around the school throughout the day.
- Assisting with the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils with SEND.
- Working collaboratively with other staff to ensure pupils receive consistent and high-quality support.

What We're Looking For:
- Immediate availability and based in or near Hemel Hempstead
- Previous experience working with children in a professional capacity
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs

- Willingness to assist with personal care and other specific needs as required
