Job description

SEND Teaching Assistant

We are partnering with a supportive, welcoming, and inclusive SEND school in Hillingdon that is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing tailored support across a range of classes, working closely with teachers and other support staff to meet the individual needs of pupils.

Key Responsibilities for a SEND Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant for pupils including those with SEND
  • Work collaboratively, contributing positively to the school team
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Observe and assess children's progress, offering valuable feedback to teachers and parents
  • Offer constructive feedback to pupils on their progress and achievements

For this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working within a SEND school setting
  • Experience working with children, with a reference to support it
  • An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • The ability to commute to Hounslow or live locally

Pay Rate: £88.94 - £95 per day (PAYE), depending on experience.
