SEND Teaching Assistant - EYFS

Primary School | Ealing | Full time, Monday to Friday

A welcoming primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Reception and Nursery.

The role will involve 1:1 support for children with autism and ADHD, helping them to access learning, follow routines and feel safe and supported throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils in Reception and Nursery

  • Support children with autism and ADHD with learning and emotional regulation

  • Assist with classroom routines, transitions and play-based learning

  • Support engagement, communication and social development

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting EYFS pupils with SEND

  • Experience supporting autism and/or ADHD

  • Patient, nurturing and reliable approach
