SEND Teaching Assistant - EYFS / Reception

Primary School | Kingston upon Thames

A mainstream primary school in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Early Years and Reception with complex needs.

You will be working with a small group of 5-6 pupils, supporting them to integrate into their classrooms while helping to establish routines, structure and engagement with learning.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 4:00pm

Key responsibilities:

• Support pupils in Early Years and Reception with complex SEND

• Work with a small group of 5-6 pupils across classroom settings

• Support pupils to integrate into mainstream lessons

• Establish and reinforce daily routines and expectations

• Support learning, behaviour regulation and engagement

• Work closely with class teachers and the SEND team

Requirements:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in EYFS or KS1

• Confident supporting routines and transitions

• Patient, proactive and reliable approach
