SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting children with autism and associated learning difficulties? We at Envision Education are looking for a candidate with bags of positive energy and ideally at least 6 months experience supporting children with ASD or working in an SEN environment

Role:

  • Teaching Assistant to work supporting 2 children with ASD in a Reception calss
  • Required to support the Teacher with daily duties
  • Required to work one to one and manage potentially challenging behaviours
  • Must be proactive and engaging to meet the social, emotional and academic needs of children with ASD

Requirements:

  • Preferably to have 6 months experience of working with children with ASD or associated learning difficulties
  • Must have a bachelor degree
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must have an understanding of Autism and strategies which can be used to support autistic children.
  • Live in or local to Wembley or Central London
