Job description

Are you an experienced BSL Teaching Assistant? Are you available immediately and long term?

We are looking for a BSL Specialist Teaching Assistant to support students in Primary and Secondary Schools in the Hayes, Hillingdon area. Ideally you will have at least 6 months of relevant school based experience and be available immediately or be able to start from September.

The role:

  • Support SEN students on a 1:1 or group basis
  • Help to develop confidence and their communication skills
  • Work closely with the teacher and outside agencies
  • Provide interventions when required

Requirements:

  • Ideally, a bachelors degree
  • Live within a commutable distance to Hayes
  • Experience supporting SEN pupils
  • Available full time and immediately/in September
