Connecting with Future ECT and Primary Teaching Talent
Envision Education was delighted to attend the Primary Partnership ECT Recruitment Event at University of Roehampton.
The event brought together BA Year 3 and PGCE students preparing to secure ECT roles for the 2026/27 academic year. It was fantastic to meet so many enthusiastic and motivated trainees who are ready to take the next step in their teaching careers across mainstream primary and SEND schools.
Meeting the Next Generation of Teachers
Representing Envision Education at the event were:
Marianne, Head of Resourcing and Marketing
Chloe, Leading Recruitment Consultant and Coaching Lead
Lina, Senior Marketing Executive
Our team had the opportunity to speak with a wide range of aspiring teachers, each bringing their own strengths, experiences and passion for education. We spoke to candidates interested in roles within mainstream primary settings as well as those keen to pursue careers in SEND schools, supporting pupils with additional needs.
From discussions about career aspirations to conversations around inclusive practice and professional development, it was clear that this cohort is filled with promising talent committed to making a meaningful difference in education.
Supporting ECTs into Their First Roles
As a specialist education recruitment agency, we understand how important the transition from training to securing an ECT position can be. Whether supporting candidates into mainstream primary schools or SEND provisions, our focus is always on matching educators with settings where they can thrive and grow.
Events like this allow us to build early connections with trainees, offer tailored guidance and help them explore opportunities that align with their goals and values.
Looking Ahead
The Primary Partnership ECT Recruitment Event was a brilliant opportunity to connect with future teachers and strengthen our relationships within the education community. We are excited to continue supporting these talented individuals as they move towards their first teaching roles in both mainstream and SEND schools.
We look forward to attending more events like this and continuing to champion the next generation of educators.
If you are an ECT seeking guidance for September 2026, or a school looking to secure outstanding early career talent for your primary or SEND setting, our team at Envision Education would be delighted to support you.
