Do you have a strong academic background and a passion for helping children reach their full potential? Are you confident in supporting pupils as they prepare for their SATs?

We are delighted to be working with a welcoming and ambitious Primary School in St Albans, currently seeking a motivated KS2 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support for pupils in Years 5 and 6. This role is ideal for someone who is academically strong, proactive, and enthusiastic about helping children succeed in their SATs.

The Role:

Deliver focused 1:1 and small group interventions in maths, reading, grammar, and writing.
Support pupils in developing effective exam strategies, confidence, and resilience.
Work alongside teachers to identify learning gaps and provide tailored academic support.
Track and monitor pupil progress, giving meaningful feedback to staff and parents.
Create a positive, structured, and motivating learning environment that encourages achievement.

What We're Looking For:

Strong academic background (degree preferred, especially in English or Maths).
Prior experience supporting KS2 pupils, ideally with SATs preparation.
Confident working with children in a UK primary school setting.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Able to commute to or reside in St Albans.
