Senior Nursery Officer

We are seeking a Senior Nursery Officer to join a welcoming mainstream nursery in the Hayes area! This is a full-time, permanent position working on a rotating rota with staff, and to be successful for this role you must hold a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare/Early Years.

The Role:

The role is for a full-time Senior Nursery Officer, working Monday to Friday, usually 8:00am - 5:00pm or 9:00am - 6:00pm on a rotating rota.
Oversee the daily running of a nursery room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for all children.
Lead and mentor nursery staff, supporting professional development and best practice.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Monitor and record children's progress, supporting individual learning and development needs.
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Safeguard health and safety while promoting the wellbeing of all children.

Requirements:

You must hold a Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare/Early Years.
Previous experience in a supervisory or senior role within an Early Years setting.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £33,000 per annum.
