Job description

Do you have the resilience and confidence to support children with challenging behaviour? Are you passionate about helping pupils with SEND reach their potential both academically and emotionally?

We are delighted to be working with a supportive and inclusive school in Welwyn Garden City, who are looking for a SEND Teaching & Learning Assistant to join their team. • Support teachers in delivering an engaging, inclusive curriculum tailored to pupils' needs.

  • Track and record progress, providing feedback that supports both academic achievement and personal growth.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEND in a UK school.

  • Strong interpersonal skills - confident, calm, and resilient.

  • Full-time availability: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Resides in or can commute easily to Welwyn Garden City.
