Job description
SEND Learning Support Assistant
Location: Twickenham
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start: ASAP
We are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work in a specialist SEND through-school, supporting pupils with autism, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. This role is to work in all classes across Primary and Secondary.
This position would suit someone with experience supporting in a special school with challenging behaviour.
The role:
Help pupils access learning activities and classroom routines
Work closely with teaching staff
Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
Build strong working relationships with students
Share updates with staff and follow setting procedures
What we're looking for
Experience supporting children or young peoplein a SEND school setting
Calm, patient and reliable
