SEN Teaching Assistant

We have a wonderful opportunity to support children with autism in an SEN School based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Are you looking for a long term role to start immediately? Are you passionate about supporting young children with autism and learning difficulties? Do you have experience as a Teaching Assistant?

The Role:

• To support children with autism in an SEN School setting
• Work closely with parents and carers
• To support the emotional and social development of young children
• Provide a safe envionment where children can thrive

The School:

• SEN School catering for autism
• Also cater for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties
• Aims to provide pupils with frequent opportunities for 'real life learning' through visits to local amenities
• Recognise and celebrate the individual strengths and talents of all our pupils

Requirements:

• Ideally have SEN experience
• Must have previous experience working with children
• Graduates welcome to apply
• Either live in Hatfield or within a commutable distance
• Available to start immediately
