Job description
We have a wonderful opportunity to support children with autism in an SEN School based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Are you looking for a long term role to start immediately? Are you passionate about supporting young children with autism and learning difficulties? Do you have experience as a Teaching Assistant?
The Role:
- To support children with autism in an SEN School setting
- Work closely with parents and carers
- To support the emotional and social development of young children
- Provide a safe envionment where children can thrive
The School:
- SEN School catering for autism
- Also cater for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties
- Aims to provide pupils with frequent opportunities for 'real life learning' through visits to local amenities
- Recognise and celebrate the individual strengths and talents of all our pupils
Requirements:
- Ideally have SEN experience
- Must have previous experience working with children
- Graduates welcome to apply
- Either live in Hatfield or within a commutable distance
- Available to start immediately
