Primary School Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start
We're recruiting an enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school in the Wembley area. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, with an immediate start.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-to-one support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, helping them with academic progress, social skills, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 support to SEND pupils, meeting their individual academic and social needs
Support small groups of SEND students with tailored assistance to encourage collaborative learning
Work closely with teachers and other Teaching Assistants to maintain an inclusive classroom that promotes engagement for all pupils
Assist with setting up and tidying the classroom before and after lessons to ensure a well-organised learning space
- Promote independence and self-confidence among SEND students, providing encouragement and guidance as a Teaching Assistant as they navigate their learning journey.
Requirements:
- Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.
- Able to start immediately as a Teaching Assistant
- DBS checked or willing to apply for one.
- Experience working with children in the UK
- Live in the Wembley area or able to commute to the area.
