Nursery Assistant - Slough

We are seeking a caring, responsible, and engaging Nursery Assistant to join an OFTSED 'Outstanding' rated school located in Slough. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children with their initial development and build a strong relationship with children, staff and parents. To considered for this position as a Nursery Assistant, you must be located within the Slough area and you must have a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification.

The Role:

  • Assisting lead teachers with implementing educational activities that promote children's physical, mental, and social development
  • Planning and leading activities under lead teacher guidance such as arts & crafts, music, storytelling, and games
  • Maintaining a safe, clean environment and sterilizing toys and surfaces
  • Communicating with parents, updating them on their children's day
  • As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children with their key developmental milestones

Requirements:

  • Must have a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare
  • You will have previous experience working with children in the past 2 years
  • Live local to the Slough area
  • Ability to stay energised and engaged in a fast-paced environment
  • As a Nursery Assistant, you will be comfortable supporting children with SEN
