Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Complex Needs Class
Location: Hampton, Richmond Borough
Pay: £88-£95 per day (PAYE)
Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Job Description:
A primary SEND school in Hampton is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team and support in a complex needs class of nine pupils. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing behaviour and able to provide tailored support to children with a range of additional needs.
You will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment that meets each child's individual needs. Patience, empathy, and consistency are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with complex needs in their learning and daily routines
Implement behaviour management strategies effectively and calmly
Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Provide 1:1 or small group support when required
Encourage independence and social development
Requirements:
Experience working with SEND children, particularly those with complex needs
Strong behaviour management skills
A patient, caring, and resilient approach
Available full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:00 pm)
Pay: £88-£95 per day (PAYE)
