Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Are you an experienced and caring Teaching Assistant interested to work in a nurturing and thriving learning community? We are currently working with a brilliant Primary School Academy based in Willesden. They are looking for an attentive Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).

The role:

  • Support students with SEND as a Teaching Assistant
  • 1:2 and 1:4 work on social skills, reading and writing mathematics
  • Promote learners' growth and development
  • Provide positive and appropriate behaviour management practices
  • Encourage team communication

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school setting
  • Patient and caring individual
  • Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
  • Knowledge and understanding needed to work with SEND students
  • Available to work fairly immediately as a Teaching Assistant
