Job description
We have an opportunity for a Support Worker for a SEND School in the Twickenham area. The school caters exclusively to SEND pupils across all age groups (4 to 19 years old) and takes pride in its inclusive, multi-sensory, and motivating approach to education.
Position Details:
- Role: Teaching Assistant
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Start Date: ASAP
About the role : As a Support Worker you will:
- 1:1 Support: Provide dedicated, one-on-one support to children with special educational needs (SEN) as a Care Support Worker.
- Therapy Assistance: Assist children during therapy sessions, helping them engage and benefit from the experience.
- Learning Resources: Help prepare learning resources and activities to support students' educational development.
- Student Support: Be proactive in addressing and supporting the individual needs of each student.
What We're Looking For:
- Availability: Able to start immediately as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
- DBS Check: Hold a Child-Only DBS or be willing to apply for one.
- Experience: Have prior experience working with SEND children, demonstrating an understanding of their needs.
- Location: Live in or have reliable transportation to commute to the Twickenham area.
