Job description

Experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant Required for a Special Needs School in Walthamstow

Do you have 1 year of school based experience? Are you available immediately and full-time?

Envision Education is seeking an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 3 to 19 years with complex needs including learning difficulties, physical impairment and sensory impairment. You must be based in or near Walthamstow area.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with complex needs including learning difficulties, physical & sensory impairment
  • Monitor the progress of pupils and provide feedback
  • Support the teacher with daily duties
  • Provide the Teacher with general classroom support

Requirements:

  • Must have 1 year school based experience
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN is preferred
  • Degree/ TA qualifications
  • Must have good spoken and written English
  • Must be available full-time and immediately
