Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Full-Time - St Albans

We are currently seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the St Albans area. This is a fantastic opportunity for caring and dedicated individuals to work as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in a supportive, classroom-based setting. About the Role:

Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Supporting SEND pupils with their learning, development, and wellbeing
Delivering 1:1 or small group support, as guided by the class teacher
Assisting with personal care needs where required, ensuring pupils feel safe and supported
Promoting inclusion and encouraging full engagement in classroom activities
Supporting the delivery of play-based and sensory learning activities to foster communication and independence
Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement tailored education plans

What We're Looking For:

Immediate availability and based in or near St Albans
Previous experience working with children in a professional capacity
A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs
A genuine passion for helping every child reach their full potential
Willingness to assist with personal care and other specific needs as required
