Job description

We are seeking an a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school located in Acton. As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will be required to support SEN children in a classroom environment. This role requires you to have excellent English skills and you must have previous experience working with children.

The Role:

  • Support children with SEN
  • Manage challenging behaviour
  • Create and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare

Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Be proficient in English
  • Work successfully as part of a team
  • Communicate effectively with adults and children
  • Follow school policy and procedures, show common sense and remain calm in a crisis
  • Either live in Ealing, or within a commutable distance
