We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching and Learning Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Watford, with an immediate start available!
We're looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who has previously worked with children in the UK and is confident supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The Role:
- Provide support across various year groups, including classes with SEND pupils
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to individual learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
- Respond to the unique strengths and challenges of each pupil, promoting academic and personal growth
Requirements:
- Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Prior experience working with children in a UK school setting
- Ability to commute to Watford or live locally
