A supportive and inclusive school in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching & Learning Assistant to join their team on a long-term, temp-to-perm basis.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in SEMH support, behaviour mentoring, or SEND, who is ready to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

✅ Your Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Help students regulate emotions and re-engage in learning using effective behaviour strategies
Support teachers in delivering an inclusive and engaging curriculum
Monitor pupil progress and share feedback to support academic and emotional development

✅ What You'll Need:

Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs
A calm, confident, and empathetic approach
Full-time availability: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to commute to or live near Welwyn Garden City
