Job description

Are you looking to develop your experience as a Teaching Assistant within an SEN school? Do you live local to Radlett & are available to start immediately?

We are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a lovely SEN School, based in Radlett. The role is a full time, 09:00 - 16:00 term time position, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff! Specialist support and training provided - including Behavioural Management.

The role:

  • Working 1:1, in pairs and in small groups with children and/or young adults on the Autism spectrum
  • Provide general classroom support to the Teacher
  • Engage with the students to inspire creativity and increase social skills

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children/ young adults with special needs preferable but not essential
  • Willing to take initiative and contribute to a caring and nurturing learning environment
  • Live local to Radlett
  • Available immediately
