Job description

Envision Education are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to start work immediately!

We are working alongside an exceptional mainstream primary school based in Hounslow, West London, who are looking to appoint a committed SEN TA to support in their SEN unit.

The ideal candidate will have classroom experience supporting children with special needs, and a pro-active approach to teaching.

About the role:

  • Work with a child with autism on a 1:1 basis
  • Spend time working in the SEN provision supporting a group of children
  • Encourage children to be confident
  • Promote positive behaviour
  • Act as a role model
  • Engage with children in activities

Requirements:

  • 6 months Teaching Assistant experience
  • An understanding of SEN
  • Pro-active and confident personality
  • Must be available full-time and immediately
  • Ideally based locally to Hounslow
