Job description
Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant needed for a primary school in Acton!
Envision Education is seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work for a primary school in Acton to support children with special needs.
- Has high expectations of work and behaviour
- Aims to foster a life-long love of learning in our pupils
- Equips pupils with skills and attributes which will allow them to flourish both in school and beyond
- Dedicated teachers and staff work relentlessly to provide pupils with the very best learning opportunities and build strong relationships between home and school
- A 5 minute walk from West Acton tube station (Central line)
About the role:
- Support children with special needs
- Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Monitor and track progress
- Exercise role model behaviour and attitude in the classroom
- Foster positive behaviour management strategies
- Carry out administrative tasks if needed.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience working with pupils with SEN is essential
- Must have good spoken and written English
- Bubbly and confident personality and enjoys working with children
- Must be available full-time and immediately
