Are you a dedicated, experienced and outgoing SEN Teaching Assistant searching for a new role this September?

Envision Education are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic Primary SEN Provision based in Hampton, Richmond to start in the new academic year.

About the school:

This is a 50 place provision for pupils aged 4 - 11 years with Autism and moderate learning needs who all have EHCPs. This school is a place where adults and children are encouraged to work together to achieve their very best and promotes an inclusive and accepting culture.

In their most recent OFSTED inspection, the school were judged to be "Good" and were commended for their ability to raise attendance from pupils. The staff at this school share the same mission to support pupils both socially and academically and are looking for a passionate, like-minded SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team!

About the role:

You will be required to work in a small class of 7/8 primary aged pupils of mixed abilities and provide general classroom support. You may be required to work 1:1 and in small groups to ensure pupils are making sufficient progress. As many of the pupils have additional diagnoses of Autism, the role can be challenging at times but remains very rewarding.

What we are looking for:

  • 1 year experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in the UK
  • Someone who is positive and open to challenges
  • Good behavioural management skills
  • Must be available full-time from September 2020
