The school is looking for a compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team, supporting pupils with SEMH needs to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
💡 Your Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs, helping them build self-esteem, confidence, and positive relationships.
Work alongside teachers to create a safe, structured, and supportive environment that encourages engagement and learning.
Use emotional regulation strategies and positive behaviour techniques to help pupils manage challenges.
Support academic progress through tailored interventions and differentiated activities.
Observe and record progress, offering constructive feedback to staff and parents.
✅ What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children with SEMH or behavioural needs in a UK school setting.
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Ability to commute to or live locally in Neasden / Brent.
