We're delighted to be working with a specialist SEN school in Hemel Hempstead, currently seeking a dedicated School Support Worker to join their team. This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with SEND needs aged 4-19 in a highly inclusive, multi-sensory learning environment.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 support for children with a range of SEN
  • Assist pupils during therapy and sensory sessions
  • Prepare learning resources and activities
  • Support pupils with personal care, ensuring dignity and comfort
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and motivating environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Support Worker, Carer, or SEN Support Worker in the UK
  • Experience in childcare or working with young people
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient approach
  • Able to commute to or live locally in Hemel Hempstead
