Primary School Teaching Assistant - Brent

Are you looking to work within a Primary School setting? Available to start immediately as a Primary School Teaching Assistant? If so then we have the role for you! We are seeking a Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Brent that want the right person to join their staff and staff and hit the ground running as a Primary School Teaching Assistant. No previous experience as a Primary School Teaching Assistant is required but you will have had experience with children in some capacity.

The role:

  • Primary School Teaching Assistant to support students within a primary school environment, across different classes
  • To provide 1:1 support with a year 4 student, who has challenging behaviour
  • To inspire and motivate pupils to participate in a range of high quality learning opportunities
  • To develop rapport with both staff and students
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment, and be proactive in identifying the needs of children to meet them

Requirements:

  • Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
  • Recent experience of working with or caring for children in a school or alternate setting
  • Must be available for an immediate and after September as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
  • Must be open to working with a child that has SEN
  • Either live in Brent, or within a commutable distance
