Primary School Classroom Assistant

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a primary school in the Feltham area as a Primary School Classroom Assistant. The role is a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm. You will be working within a primary school with mainly Early Years and Reception aged pupils who have additional needs within their centre.

Experience working as a Primary School Classroom Assistant would be ideal but you must have experience working with children in some form of capacity and be willing to support children with special needs!

The Role:

• Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
• Willing to complete training on how best to support students with SEN as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Create a stimulating environment and motivate pupils with their learning as a Primary School Classroom Assistant

Requirements:

• Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4pm
• Good communication skills are essential to effectively communicate with the pupils and teachers as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• As a Primary School Classroom Assistant you will need a good understanding of building positive relationships with children
• Ability to support SEN students in groups of 8 as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
• Either live in Feltham or within a commutable distance
