Job description

Do you have experience as a Learning Support Assistant? Are you familiar with PECS?

Envision Education are looking for a Primary Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a supportive primary school based in West Drayton, Hillingdon. You will be working in a 1:1 basis with a pupil in Year 3 who is non verbal and has complex needs. You will need to be available full time and on an immediate basis, ideally you will also have 6 months of experience supporting SEN pupils. This is a long term role, and parking is available on site.

The role:

  • Work with an SEN pupils
  • Run interventions
  • Follow the teacher's guidance
  • Be creative in improving engagement in lessons
  • Develop behaviour management strategies

Requirements:

  • Level 3 TA qualification, or higher
  • Available full time and long term
  • Experience supporting SEN pupils
  • Live local to Hillingdon
