Job description

Are you an experienced and passionate Primary Art Teacher seeking a rewarding new role? Our partner primary school in Ealing is currently recruiting for a Primary Art Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

As a Primary Art Teacher at this school, you will:
* Inspire and nurture creativity and self-expression in pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2.
* Design and deliver engaging, high-quality art lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
* Teach a wide range of artistic skills, including drawing, painting, sculpture, color, pattern, texture, line, shape, form, and space.
* Encourage experimentation and confidence through the effective use of sketchbooks and varied materials.
* Monitor pupil progress using formative assessment and provide constructive, creative feedback.
* Create an inspiring, safe, and well-organized art environment, ensuring appropriate use and care of tools and materials.
* Organise displays and exhibitions to celebrate pupil achievement and engage the wider school community.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, and contribute positively to the school's ethos and values.
* Make meaningful cross-curricular links to enrich learning across the curriculum.

For this role, you will need to have:
* Experience teaching Art within a primary school setting (KS1 and KS2).
* A recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS).
* Strong artistic skills and knowledge of a range of artists, designers, and techniques.
* The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that demonstrate clear progression.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* The right to work in the UK.
* A DBS on the update service or be willing to complete one.
