Job description
Maths Teacher - Secondary School
We are searching for a dedicated and experienced math teacher to join a fantastic school in Isleworth. As a Maths Teacher, you will be required to deliver lessons that develop students' theoretical and applied mathematical skills. You will also be responsible for assigning homework, grading assignments and documenting students' progress.
To be successful as a Maths Teacher, you should possess a thorough understanding of effective teaching practices. The ideal candidate will be able to create a stimulating learning environment that is sensitive to students' psychosocial needs.
The Role:
- Maths Teacher to teach children in both KS3 and KS4
- Help the children progress forward in their learning
- Plan lessons and prepare resources for students
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve the best results possible
- Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning
Requirements:
- Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
- Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Must have a strong presence and good behaviour management skills
- Have previous references relating to teaching Maths
