Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

About us:

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a school at Hounslow as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school has a vibrant learning environment to help support their pupils with their learning. The role as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant is a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4pm.

Ideally you would have experience as a Teaching Assistant but you must have experience working with children in some form of capacity and a Level 3 Teaching and Learning certificate or Diploma.

The Role:

  • Preparing the classroom for lessons and tidying it up afterwards as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Providing extra assistance to children with additional needs as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Motivating and encouraging students with their learning as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Supervising students during school trips or social activities as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to teachers and students as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • You will need to have compassion and sensitivity towards children as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Ability to adapt to whatever the situation requires as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm under stressful situations as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant
