Job description

We are seeking a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful School in Feltham! The role will require you to support children inside the classroom and work alongside their team of staff to ensure children receive the support they need. You must have a Level 3 Qualification and also be available immediately as the school is keen to have the right candidate start straight away!

The Role:

  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Prepare classroom materials
  • Monitor children's social and emotional development
  • Work alongside staff to ensure children receive the support they need
  • Supervise pupils in small group or 1:1 learning activities in school away from the main teaching area, following appropriate risk assessment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, other professionals and parents

Requirements:

  • You must have previous experience working with children
  • Have a creative and friendly personality
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Either live in Feltham or within a commutable distance
  • Be willing to apply for/currently hold an enhanced DBS
